Prop Shop Hobbies, Inc. was established by founder Thomas J. Brubaker, Sr. October 23, 1975. His goal was to provide modelers with all they needed for their radiol control hobby. He was known as the "parts guy" throughout the Metro Detroit area. If you needed a part Tom had it or would order it up and keep an exra on hand "just in case". As the R/C hobby grew so did Prop Shop Hobbies. Outgrowing its original store, Prop Shop moved up the street In November of 1985 to a larger store. Tom was the first in the area to completely computerize his large inventory. Prop Shop Hobbies is well known throughout the United States by reputation of having just about everything you need for radio control. Our large and diverse inventory is the envy of many.

Tom died in June of 2005. Since that time his son Matt has carried on the traditions Tom established for Prop Shop Hobbies.

PROPSHOP.COM POLICIES

METHOD OF PAYMENT: Prop Shop Hobbies, Inc. accepts Visa, Master Card, Discover and American Express credit cards for domestic as well as accepted international orders. Please provide the billing address of the credit card of your choice if not the same as the shipping address. All credit card orders are subject to financial institution regulations and we reserve the right to cancel any order having credit issues without notification. International orders are charge in U.S. currency. We do not accept checks of any kind.

SHIPPING: Orders will be shipped via FedEx or USPS as chosen by customer at checkout. It is customer’s responsibility to choose shipping method most convenient for them. All hazardous materials will be shipped by appropriate carrier. However, lithium batteries must be shipped via ground. All packages are insured for the value of the merchandise. International orders must be in compliance with required documentation.

DAMAGE RETURNS DUE TO SHIPPING: If you receive a visibly damaged package from us refuse delivery. If you have already accepted delivery and find it damaged, save all packaging and paper work. Throw nothing away and call us immediately. We will have the package returned to us according to shipper’s return conditions. If you attempt to return package yourself you may not receive a credit it we cannot fulfill claims to shipper.

MERCHANDISE RETURN POLICY: You may return merchandise purchased from Prop Shop Hobbies on-line within 30 days if it is in new and unused condition, in its original packaging along with the packing slip from that purchase. Defective merchandise is to be returned to the appropriate manufacturer. Batteries are not returnable and are subject to that manufacturer’s warranty.

DEFECTIVE MERCHANDISE: Defective merchandise must be returned to the manufacturer for refund or replacement. Consult your owner’s manual for further information or contact us for help in contacting the appropriate company.

WHAT CONSTITUTES USED MERCHANDISED: Mounting and running fuel through a model engine, installing radio parts in a model, cutting up balsa sheets in kits, placing connectors on, using or charging of batteries, opening software packaging or discarding of packaging materials.

LIMITS OF RESPONSIBILITY: We accept no responsibility for crashed or misused kits, engines, radios, accessories, etc. incurred during operation of radio control models and their components. User accepts full responsibility of knowledge and use of their radio control items.
